PROJECT: Interior design retrofit for UC Davis Graduate Design Studio ROLE: Interior Designer, design researcher, furniture designer, project manager

Tasked with a research led renovation of an outdated classroom, the Hoagland Hall project team focused on the needs and desires of the Graduate Studies Design cohort. The project was limited in scope and aimed to achieve a remarkable transformation of space through informed small scale interventions. Phases to completion included conceptual research, diagramming and massing studies, stakeholder questionnaires, floor plan and 3-d modeling iterations, conceptual and technical furniture design development, stakeholder meetings, budget and procurement, CNC and traditional furniture fabrication, project implementation, stakeholder review and documentation.
